Hi everyone! I’m Kate—an elementary teacher by day and a passionate longarm quilter in every spare moment.

My quilting journey began in 2003 at a cozy little quilt shop in South Korea, where I fell in love with hand piecing and quilting. I can still remember the comforting scent of fabric filling the air. After moving to Michigan, I expanded my sewing skills to include dressmaking and machine embroidery, but quilting has always held a special place in my heart.

Thanks to the support of my amazing husband, Wes, I get to spend as much time as I want doing what I love—quilting! (Thank you, Wes!)

In March 2021, I purchased my first longarm quilting machine, and ever since, I’ve been completely in love with longarm quilting! I take great joy in adding custom quilting to beautiful quilts, and I’d love to help bring your quilt to life. (Find out more about my quilting services here.)
