Hello everyone!

Welcome to Pierce St. Quilting! My name is Kate, and I am an elementary teacher and longarm quilter!

I started sewing in 2003. I learned hand piecing and quilting at a small local quilt shop in South Korea. I loved the small quilt shop, and I still remember the pleasant smell of the fabric at the store.  After moving to Michigan, I started dressmaking and machine embroidery along with quilting. Thanks to my wonderful husband, I am fortunate to enjoy sewing as much as I want. (Thank you Wes!) 

In March 2021, I purchased my first longarm machine. Ever since, I am totally in love with longarm quilting! I hope you appreciate custom quilting, and contact me to quilt your precious quilt! (Find out about my quilting service here.)
